Review DuroMax XP4400E 4,400 Watt 7.0 HP OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator With Wheel Kit And Electric Start
Good performance, excellent value,  Great Generator - I purchased DuroMax XP4400E mine in November 2010, after I got it, I put it together and started breaking it in. It is quite important on small motors without oil filters, I ran it at 3/4 load for 5 hours and changed the oil (dino oil, non-synthetic) where there was allot of metal shavings. It's normal to obtain metal shavings on break-in lacking any oil filter, the rings are forming for the cylinder wall, I ran it 5 more of their time at full load and changed the oil a second time. Then I started employing a top quality synthetic oil designed for small engines (AMSoil), Also i bought an hour meter away from eBay and cut a hole inside plastic panel to mount it and ran the positive through the meter towards key switch as well as the other wire was a ground (two wire hook-up, quite simple). I customize the oil every 30 hours now as soon as the burglary, I put 127 hours into it last winter due to power outages as well as the XP4400E did perfect. It isn't in the highest quality and has gone dead on me twice nonetheless it going on the second pull both times while using recoil start back-up, I acquired a deep-cycle motorcycle battery (Oddessy) using a 12 year warrenty as well as a 2 year charge life that starts it in 1 revolution at 30* temp. It will seem they've already fixed the situation using the fuel tank leaking as is also, I've read several reviews where unlucky buyers got a generator your problem, every one of the reviews that mentioned it are older reviews. I gave it 5 stars however the battery was cheesy i was required to change it out. If broke in right and the oil is changed every countless hours, there isn't any reason this generator won't have longevity, it dose use brushes within the generator but those are incredibly simple to replace DuroMax XP4400E.
