DuroMax Elite MX1500 Review
DuroMax Elite MX1500 Generator, Delighted on this purchase. Generator moving on the 3rd pull first-time I attempt to utilize it. Choke lever position is mislabeled (reversed) on the unit and in the manual. I noticed the choke butterfly was a student in a bad position when I pulled the top's to the air cleaner to evaluate it before running. Experimented with contact owner about this issue, but got a clear form response "For anyone who is having troubles together with your new .......,etc." Not thrilled about their ignorance and potential future responses in case of trouble. I was thinking they will often need to include an errata sheet something like that, nevertheless they cant be found paying much attention.Otherwise, I ran it for 2 hours while monitoring the output having a 600 W worklight plus a P4400 Kill A Watt. Ran fine, steady, and relatively quiet at 63Hz freq. Didn't appear to put a dent or dimple into the gas supply in the tank. Didn't get the opportunity make use of it for any real emergency yet - I got it for that recent hurricane within the New england, but never lost city power. Don't forget that it's with a rating of only 1000 W continuous duty, though. I obtained it mainly for that sump pump that's about all it might handle, anyway. Stated in China. Big surprise there DuroMax Elite MX1500!!
